1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“You,” “User,” or “your”) and BacklinkIndex.net (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the BacklinkIndex.net website at backlinkindex.net (the “Site”) and all related services, tools, features, and functionalities (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Description of Service
BacklinkIndex.net provides a backlink monitoring and indexing platform that enables users to submit backlink-page URLs, verify backlink placements, run crawlability diagnostics, process discovery signals through available notification channels, and monitor indexing-related status changes over time.
The Service speeds up the process of getting backlinks discovered by search engines by submitting URLs through multiple crawl notification services (including Google via Pingomatic, Bing, Yandex, and Seznam) and identifying technical blockers that delay indexing. However, the Service does not guarantee that any search engine will crawl, index, or rank any specific page. Search-engine crawling and indexing decisions remain under the control of each search engine.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1. Account Creation
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to update your account information as needed to keep it accurate.
4.2. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4.3. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the Service in a manner that could harm the Company, other users, or third parties.
5. Plans, Pricing, and Payment
5.1. Subscription Plans
The Service is offered through multiple subscription plans (Free, Pro, and Agency), each with different feature limits, URL capacities, and pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing, plan features, and URL limits at any time with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
5.2. Billing and Payment
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) depending on the billing cycle you select at the time of purchase. Payment is processed through a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.
5.3. Free Plan
The Free plan allows you to check up to 10 URLs per scan without creating an account or providing payment information. Free plan features and limits are subject to change at any time.
5.4. Upgrades and Downgrades
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If your current usage exceeds the lower plan’s limits, you will need to remove URLs or projects before the downgrade is applied.
5.5. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy at backlinkindex.net/refund. Please review the Refund Policy for eligibility criteria, non-refundable items, and the refund request process.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Submit URLs that you do not have the right to check, monitor, or submit through discovery channels
• Use the Service to engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to access the Service, extract data, or circumvent usage limits, except through our official API when available
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the servers and networks that host it
• Upload or submit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content through the Service
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or promotional materials
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Service
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. Our Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, data compilations, and the overall design and layout of the Site, is the property of BacklinkIndex.net or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, display, or exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
7.2. Your Content
You retain ownership of the URLs, data, and content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence terminates when you delete your content or close your account.
7.3. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use that feedback without restriction or obligation to you. You acknowledge that any feedback you provide is non-confidential and that we are free to use it for any purpose.
8. No Indexing Guarantee
The Service is designed to speed up the process of getting backlinks discovered by search engines and to provide diagnostic information about technical issues that may affect indexing. However, we explicitly do not guarantee that any URL submitted through the Service will be crawled, indexed, or ranked by any search engine. Search-engine crawling and indexing decisions are entirely under the control of each search engine.
You acknowledge that the Service reports what can be detected and diagnosed, and that no feature, plan tier, or payment level constitutes a promise of indexing outcomes. The absence of indexing for any URL does not constitute a failure of the Service or a basis for a refund, except as explicitly stated in our Refund Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with or reference third-party services, search engine APIs, crawl notification services, or external websites. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or performance of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BACKLINKINDEX.NET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements. We do not warrant that any defects in the Service will be corrected.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. Any content downloaded, accessed, or otherwise obtained through the Service is done at your own discretion and risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BACKLINKINDEX.NET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF RANKINGS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO BACKLINKINDEX.NET IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above exclusions or limitations may not apply, and you may have additional rights.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BacklinkIndex.net, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (e) any content you submit through the Service.
13. Cancellation and Termination
13.1. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan and any URLs or projects above the Free plan limits are paused.
13.2. Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in activity that could harm the Service or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13.3. Effect of Termination
Upon termination, we may delete your account data, including scan results, monitoring history, and project information. We are not obligated to retain or provide you with a copy of any data after termination. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or through a notice on the Site.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the matter will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in San Francisco, California.
You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or it will be permanently barred.
16. General Provisions
16.1. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and BacklinkIndex.net regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, discussions, and understandings.
16.2. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.3. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of BacklinkIndex.net.
16.4. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
16.5. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or telecommunications failures, or other force majeure events.
